School Climate Advisory Committee

The School Climate Advisory Committee is a vital new initiative launching at the start of the 2026-2027 school year to foster safe and inclusive schools that nurture and sustain positive school cultures. 

The District deeply values our stakeholders, our students and parents, who serve as vital resources as we evaluate the unique climate on each campus and look at how we address concerns. Driven by a goal of continuous improvement, this committee represents a collaborative partnership across our entire community to review, strengthen, and elevate our district-wide efforts to prevent and respond to sexual harassment, assault, abuse, and boundary policy violations.

To ensure every campus has a voice, the committee will include a dedicated representative from all six District schools, featuring a total of three parents and three current students. Through quarterly meetings, clear public transparency, and communication with the Board of Trustees and District leadership, this committee will act as a driving force for proactive improvement. Equipped with access to comprehensive climate survey results and data, our committee members are empowered to make informed, impactful recommendations that hold our schools to the highest standards of safety and care.
