Title IX Introduction
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (“Title IX”), 20 U.S.C. §1681 et seq., is a federal law that was passed in 1972 to ensure that male and female students and employees in educational settings are treated equally and fairly. It protects against discrimination based on sex (including sexual harassment). State law also prohibits discrimination based on gender (sex), gender expression, gender identity, and sexual orientation.

Title IX Complaints
Students or parents/guardians wishing to file a Title IX complaint must do so with the School's Principal or the District's Title IX Coordinators, Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services or Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources. The Title IX Complaint Form and Administrative Regulation 5145.71 can be found below for more information regarding the complaint process.
This complaint process shall be used to address allegations of one or more of the following:
