Behavior Support
The Pupil Services Department is dedicated to fostering an environment where students learn and thrive through a proactive, restorative, and intervention-based approach. We seek to support schools through our tiered system of support and intervention to address student behavior in a manner that promotes positive interactions and continuous personal and educational growth. Our goal is to ensure a safe and connected school community where all students are supported and empowered to grow.

The El Monte Union High School District EMUHSD Anti-Bullying Policy webpage provides information and resources for both students and parents. These include:
- Definition of Bullying
- Preventative Measures
- Complaint/Investigative Procedures
- Intervention/Consequences
EMUHSD is committed to student safety and prevention of bullying behavior. Bullying of students occurring in schools is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.

EMUHSD partners with many local mental health agencies to provide office and school-based services for students and families. Services include individual/family therapy and workshops on different topics. Contact your school guidance counselor or visit your school Wellness Center for additional support. Wellness Centers implement a tiered system of curriculum and workshops, awareness of campaigns and initiatives to support students’ mental wellness, social and emotional skills and substance-use prevention educational interventions.

EMUHSD's “Tipped Off” – Anonymous Tip Submission enables students to seek support anonymously for themselves or for their friends.
