In order to accomplish this, all employees are expected to maintain professional, oral, and ethical relationships with students that are conducive to an effective and safe learning environment.
Board Policy 4060: Employee - Student Interaction is a comprehensive policy outlining professional, moral, and ethical expectations for all employees. This initiative is designed to protect students and staff, uphold the integrity of the teaching profession, and strengthen public trust in school safety. Under the guidelines, all district personnel are expected to maintain exemplary professional boundaries, adhere strictly to campus visitation and supervision protocols, and secure advance written approval for any after-hours or off-premises student activities.
