Dear El Monte Union Community,

If you are struggling to pay medical bills, free medical debt relief assistance may be available through Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County and Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis’ office. Eligible residents in Los Angeles County Supervisorial District 1 may apply for support with specialty care, emergency room, dental, inpatient, nursing home, and elective procedure bills.

Applicants will be selected based on need and must verify District 1 residency and valid medical bills. Payments will be made directly to providers.
