Dear El Monte Union Community,

You’re invited to join us in celebrating 125 years of Lion pride and history alongside students, families, alumni, current and former staff, and community members from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, at El Monte High School, 3048 Tyler Ave.

The anniversary celebration will feature a special opening ceremony, student performances, historical displays, memorabilia, campus activities, tours, and opportunities to reconnect with the El Monte High School community. Guests can also take part in a special time capsule ceremony that will preserve a piece of history for future generations of Lions.

Established in 1901, El Monte High School was the first high school in the El Monte Union High School District. This milestone is an opportunity to honor the people, memories, and moments that have shaped the school over the past 125 years.
