El Monte Union’s December and January Superintendent’s Update is here! In this month’s video, we highlight student achievements and community connections across the District, featuring December celebrations such as the Family Posada, winter campus activities, adult education culminations, and holiday outreach events. The update also spotlights El Monte High School teacher Sara Quezada, recipient of the Bobby Salcedo Esperanza Award, and recognizes students selected to perform with the 2026 Pasadena City College Tournament of Roses Honor Band at the Rose Parade.
