• Welcome to Fernando R. Ledesma High School! It is the mission of the Guidance Department to help each student create a learning plan in order to meet his/her particular individual needs.  The school offers several flexible, scheduling programs.  Students may attend classes Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM -11:45 AM, 12:27 PM - 3:30 PM or Monday through Thursday 3:45 PM - 7:45 PM. There is the option of attending classes from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, if a student would like to attend an all-day schedule, they must be in good academic standing with positive attendance.  Students have the opportunity to catch up on their credits by also enrolling in Vocational Education, Dual Enrollment and credit recovery classes. Part of each student's learning plan includes post-secondary high school goals.

The Guidance Department will assist students with filling out college and vocational school applications along with financial aid applications.  If you find yourself in need of additional support services such as counseling, tutoring, etc. please do not hesitate to ask.  We have many contacts in the community to assist you.

The Guidance Department strives to maintain open communication with parents and students.  In-take meetings, Synergy ParentVUE, Synergy StudentVUE, e-mail, scheduled parent conferences, informal student meetings, progress reports, and updated credit checks are just a few ways the department maintains contact with parents.  We welcome parent participation through School Site Council meetings, ELAC meetings, Open House and Back-to-School Night.  We also maintain an open-door policy and are available to meet with the students and parents upon request.
