• FRLHS Wellness Center

At FRLHS, our Wellness Center offers a welcoming, calming and confidential environment where supportive staff helps students access a dedicated space designed to support our student community's physical, emotional, and mental health. Services offered at the Wellness Center include but are not limited to the following:

Open Center: FRLHS Wellness Center is open to all students before and after school, during nutrition, and lunch. Students access the center's calming ambiance for a safe space to decompress and for students to build positive relationships.

Wellness Passes: The Wellness Center will be open throughout the instructional day and accessible with a pass from school staff. Students can utilize their wellness break to engage in de-stressing activities such as arts & crafts, reading, and meditation.

Groups & Workshops: Wellness Center hosts regular workshops and activities focused on topics related to mental health and wellness for students, families, community members, staff and faculty.

Wellness Campaigns: Monthly causes are organized in order to destigmatize mental health and promote a healthy and safe learning environment. In addition, wellness-related events and initiatives are held throughout the school year that promote physical activity, healthy eating habits, and mental well-being, creating a school-wide culture that values and prioritizes wellness.

Resources & Referrals: Center staff is available to assist with linking students with appropriate resources and referrals including interventions, health needs, and ongoing mental health services.

The Fernando R. Ledesma High School Wellness Center is committed to empowering our students and providing a safe and positive environment with educational learning facilities that promote learning and wellness. Welcome, and we are so excited that you are a part of the Wellness Center.
