I grew up in the city of El Monte and lived here until the age of 24. Like many of our students, I attended Shirpser Elementary and then Gidley Middle School. I am proud to be a graduate of Fernando R. Ledesma High School, class of 1996. Upon completion of high school, I attended Citrus Community College and then transferred to Cal Poly Pomona, receiving a B.A. in History. I received my teaching credential and Masters of Education from Azusa Pacific University. I then attended Point Loma University, obtaining my Pupil Personnel Service Credential and Masters of Counseling.

As a former student and graduate of Fernando R. Ledesma High School, I am so excited to work for a school that is dedicated to making a difference in student’s lives. I began working at the school when I was fourteen through a work-study program. I was a classified staff member working in the office prior to teaching in Opportunity.

I am married and have three children. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family at sporting events and Disneyland.
