Over sixty AVID students from Rosemead High School took part in an exclusive field trip to SoFi Stadium on November 6th, a remarkable experience that highlighted the significance of meeting college admission requirements.
This field trip was designed as an incentive to motivate students to meet the A-G UC/CSU college admission requirements. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to improve student compliance with A-G standards by graduation. Additionally, the excursion aimed to inspire students to think big and explore various career paths, including architecture, agricultural engineering, sports management, and communications.
The thorough tour featured special club areas, architecturally and scientifically significant spaces, environmentally noteworthy sections, the home locker room, the owners club, and various seating areas. After the tour, students had an exciting opportunity to participate in activities on the field, such as kicking field goals and trying out activities like the 40-yard dash. RHS teachers and AVID tutors were involved in facilitating the fun, making sure students maximized their experience.
