Advanced Placement (AP) is a program that offers college level courses to high school students. Students will have the opportunity to access college level curricula and examination. American colleges and universities may grant placement and course credit to students that obtain 3, 4, or 5 scores on the examinations. RHS AP courses obtained an AP designation, which means that these courses were audited by the College Board and it satisfies the AP curriculum. RHS offers the following AP courses: English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, Spanish Language and Culture, Spanish Literature, Chinese Language and Culture, United States Government and Politics, United States History, Macroeconomics, World History, Studio Art 2D, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, and Statistics.
