Principal's Message

Greetings Panthers!

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such a rich history,  persevering students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community.  I feel very fortunate to be part of this school and to support our students and families.

If you are new to the community, you may be wondering why you should enroll your student at RHS. The answer is simple...BALANCE - we do it all, and we do it all well. We have so many amazing programs and opportunities for students to get involved: arts, academics, clubs, athletics, and so much more! No matter your interest or passion, we will find a place for you here. We invite students to make connections, find what they love and show this community what makes RHS such a special place.

Our goal is to help our families develop well-rounded citizens who are: Respectful, Responsible, Resourceful and Resilient. We believe in offering diverse academic and extracurricular opportunities to serve the wide-ranging interests of our students.

Rosemead High School is a Gold Ribbon School, Title 1 Academic Achievement School, Honor Roll School, San Gabriel Valley Tribune Reader's Choice Award for 2023, and is among the top-performing high schools according to the U.S. News & World Reports’ Best High Schools 2023 rankings. RHS offers students a variety of academic offerings such as Advanced Placement classes, AVID, and career and technical education in the areas of graphic design, culinary arts and business education, just to name a few. RHS students can also take advantage of dual-enrollment courses through a partnership with Pasadena City College and Rio Hondo College.

No matter what your passion is, we invite you to join the Panther family! Please take a moment to explore our website where you can find the most up-to-date information about our school.

I look forward to partnering with you to provide all of our students with a well-rounded and memorable high school experience.
