Enrollment Requirements
In order for a student to be enrolled at Rosemead High School, the family must meet all registration requirements. The following documents must be presented at the time of enrollment.
Enrollment packets will only be distributed if a parent/guardian presents an address within school boundaries or an out-of-district school permit signed and accepted by the principal.
- Residency Verifications: Original and most current documents (within ONE month) must be presented. The following documents will be acceptable. Choose one:
- Property tax payment receipt
- Rental property contract, lease or payment receipt
- Utility service contract, statement, or payment receipt
- Pay Stub
- Voter registration
- Correspondence from a government agency
- Declaration of residency executed by the student's parent/guardian
- If the student is an unaccompanied youth as defined in 42 USC11434a, a declaration of residency is executed by the student.
- If the student is residing in the home of a caregiving adult within district boundaries, an affidavit executed by the caregiving adult in accordance with Family Code 6552
- Age Verification:
- Hospital Certificate
- Baptismal Certificate
- Parent/Guardian Picture ID: Driver's License, official state identification, or Passport.
- Immunization Records: Complete up-to-date records must include cleared Mantoux TB skin test or verification that chest x-rays have taken. The following documents will be acceptable. Choose one:
- Official Immunization Record: original stamped and signed
- Doctor Records
- School Records
- Records From Last School Attended:
- Check Out paperwork
- Transcripts
- Completed Enrollment Packet
