School Resource Officer

Officer Joe Garcia

A police officer from the El Monte Police Department is assigned to El Monte High School campus to help students with any police or law-related issues. In addition, the resource officer aids the staff by giving presentations on various topics as needed. Some of these topics include: traffic laws, drug abuse, first aid and CPR, etc. He also assists the administration with supervision and attendance problems. He is available on campus various days throughout the week and is a great resource and asset to the school.
