    Tardy Policy

    1st/2nd Tardy:  Teacher will counsel student as to the importance of punctuality.  

    3rd Tardy:  Computer will generate a 1-hour detention.  Teacher is responsible for verbally notifying student that a detention has been issued and must contact parent.   

    4th Tardy:  Computer will generate a 1-hour detention.  Teacher is responsible for verbally notifying student that a detention has been issued and must contact parent.  

    5th Tardy:  Computer will generate a 2-hour detention.  Teacher is responsible for verbally notifying student that a detention has been issued and must contact parent.  

    6th Tardy:  Teacher will refer student to Counselor.  Counselor will assign a Saturday School and parent contact/conference will be held.   

    7th Tardy:  Teacher will refer student to CWA (Child Welfare and Attendance Coordinator).  CWA will have a conference with parent and student.  Continued tardies may result in further disciplinary action, placement on behavior agreement, referral to SARB (Student Attendance Review Board), or referral to an Alternative Educational Program.  

    Single Period Truancy Policy

    1st Truancy:  Computer will generate a 1-hour detention.  Teacher is responsible for verbally notifying student that a detention has been issued.  

    2nd Truancy:  Computer will generate a 1-hour detention.  Teacher is responsible for verbally notifying student that a detention has been issued.  

    3rd Truancy:  Teacher will refer student to CWA.  Parent conference will be held.   

    4th Truancy:  Teacher will refer student to CWA.  SARB warning or possible Alternative placement may occur.
