Welcome to the EMUHSD Vocational Education Program

Vocational Education is a career educational system that provides job training programs to help students develop the skills they need for part-time employment in higher-level career technical training programs, or full-time employment after completing high school. Vocational Education is designed to meet the job training needs of the students and the employment needs of the school community.  

2024-2025 Vocational Education Programs (Applications accepted early Fall Semester)

1. Dental Assistant Program (Seniors only)

Location: Northwest College, West Covina

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm

2. Medical Assistant Program (Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors)

Location: El Monte High School

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4:15 pm to 6:15 pm

3. Pharmacy Technician Program (Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors)

Location: El Monte High School

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 415 pm to 6:15 pm

*District transportation is available for all vocational programs.
