Superintendent's Update - May 2022; As we wrap up the 2021-22 school year, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the strength and perseverance of our amazing students, teachers, staff and administrators. Despite a year full of uncertainties, our students have continued to succeed and we had many things to celebrate during May. Many of our seniors received scholarships and awards, the District announced South El Monte High School’s rising senior, Ruben Carrazzco, as the new student board member and student advisory council president for the 2022-23 school year, and we celebrated our spectacular teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week and Classified School Employee Week.
