Superintendent's Update - July 2021: EMUHSD hopes you are enjoying the summer months, continuing to stay healthy and safe while taking a much-needed break to rest and prepare for the start of the 2021-22 school year. El Monte Union will start the new school year on Aug. 17, welcoming students back to campus for in-person instruction five days a week. Additionally, EMUHSD schools have a new start time of 8:30 a.m., which will go into effect across all our campuses on the first day of school.
