Starting in the 2023-24 school year, El Monte Union High School District will join the school communication platform, ParentSquare, enabling parents to receive messages and information from their students' schools through email, phone, text or app notifications. ParentSquare offers a range of exciting features including advanced language translations, 2-way direct and group messaging services, and the ability to set delivery preferences for how the information is received daily. Parents can also view their school’s event calendar, sign forms and permission slips from their desktop or mobile device, and engage with other parents from a centralized app. The student version of the platform, StudentSquare, offers all the same great features and allows students to stay better connected with their school and classrooms. Parents, students and staff can each view ParentSquare training/tutorials for more information. “We are thrilled to join this wave of ParentSquare users and find the most efficient way to deliver important school and District messaging to our community,” Superintendent Dr. Edward Zuniga said. “It’s a great way to kick off the 2023-24 school year!”
