EMRAS Electrician Program

El Monte-Rosemead Adult School's (EMRAS) Electrician Program has been featured as an exemplary model for advancing adult education in the state in the latest edition of the California Adult Education Program Newsletter.

The EMRAS Electrician program was established in 2016 to equip students with the practical skills, knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to excel in the field of electrical work.

The program is also recognized as a superior training site by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and accredited by the California Department of Industrial Relations.

The EMRAS Electrician Program has a 90% completion rate and resulted in many successful job placements.

Congratulations to EMRAS Electrician Instructor Mike Heller, Career Technical Education (CTE) Program Administrator Lisa Ton and CTE Lead Teacher Annette Felix for helping to design and lead a program so essential to the El Monte Union community and electrical industry.
