Working Together to Ensure Healthy, Safe Communities
To ensure the shelter-in-place measures enacted by the state and county remain temporary, it is critical that everyone does their part to slow the spread of COVID-19 by adhering to the guidelines issued by federal, state and local authorities.
Here are some ways to help reduce the spread of COVID-19:
- If you are sick, stay home
- Practice social distancing and stay 6 feet away from others
- Staying indoors as much as possible
- Avoid public places and limit contact with others
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the restroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue. If you do not have a tissue, use your sleeve (not your hands).
