ESSER III Funding, Your Feedback is Welcomed

ESSER 3 FundingThe COVID-19 pandemic has caused an undeniably difficult situation for many in our El Monte Union High School District (EMUHSD) community and in our nation over the past 18 months. As we return to in-person instruction, we know that many of our students will require a significant amount of attention to address academic learning loss, social-emotional needs, and safety as they re-engage in the traditional school setting.

EMUHSD will be applying for a large amount of federal funding that is being made available through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) program. This funding will last for three years, and it is intended to help safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and to address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on students. ESSER funding must be used to meet the needs that have resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic.

We would like to ask you to complete a short survey as district stakeholders. Your responses will help us to finalize the major areas of need for which we will use “ESSER III” funding in EMUHSD.

The survey link is provided below, and responses will be collected through Friday, September 24, 2021. We thank you for your feedback and support!
