We are fast-approaching the deadline to complete the 2020 Census, and we want to make sure every person in our community is counted!
Individuals have until Wednesday, Sept. 30 to complete the Census and we want to encourage you to respond as soon as possible.
Census information is available on all student Chromebooks and surveys are available here.
The Census helps shape every aspect of our entire community, from school lunches and plans for highways to support for firefighters, hospitals and families in need. Results help determine how billions of dollars in federal funding flow into states and communities each year.
That’s why your response matters. By completing the Census, you are helping to ensure that El Monte Union receives the adequate funding needed to support our schools, programs and EMUHSD students.
Personal information you provide on the Census is protected by law and will not be shared with any other federal agency. The 2020 Census asks no questions about citizenship. The process is safe, secure and confidential.
Share this information with your neighbors and relatives to help us ensure high achievement for all learners and be counted in the 2020 Census!
