  • El Monte Union to Provide Free Meals to Kids 18 and YoungerEl Monte Union will launch a FREE grab-and-go meal service for all children 18 years and younger starting Tuesday, Sept. 15. Parents may only go to one location a day and can pick up three meals without children being present in the car.

    Meals may be picked up at one of the following locations:

    • Arroyo High School, 4921 Cedar Ave., El Monte
    • El Monte High School, 3048 Tyler Ave., El Monte
    • Mountain View High School, 2900 Parkway Drive, El Monte
    • Rosemead High School, 9063 E. Mission Drive, Rosemead
    • South El Monte High School, 1001 N. Durfee Ave., South El Monte

  • El Monte Union Adopts 100% Distance Learning Model for Fall 2020: El Monte Union High School District will begin the 2020-21 school year on a 100% distance learning schedule, with the option of transitioning to a hybrid model later in fall semester should health conditions improve.   • 2019-20 EXAMINATION UPDATES

    Spring is the time students usually engage in testing, but the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted several planned exams: state assessments have been suspended for the 2019-20 school year; AP exams will be administered online, with free review classes offered; SAT exams have been canceled through May 2; and the ACT has been rescheduled to June 13. CLICK each image to see more details on status of exams.
