  • Update: Class of 2020 Car Parade Diploma Celebrations

    We are pleased to inform that you that our six high schools will hold their Car Parade Diploma Celebrations on June 4 as planned. However, in response to county-wide curfews that may be in place over the next several days, our schools will amend their schedules to begin parades earlier, ensuring they end before the anticipated L.A County curfew time of 6 p.m.

  • Virtual Class of 2020 Celebrations (Live Video Streaming)

    On June 4th @ 7:15pm, the El Monte Union High School district will be streaming our Virtual Class of 2020 Celebrations to honor the amazing accomplishments of our class of 2020. While nothing can replace the celebration of a live in-person graduation ceremony with close family and friends, these tribute videos will honor and spotlight each of our 2020 graduates until such time that an in-person cermony can take place.   • Mountain View Valedictorian Receives Full-tuition Gates Scholarship

    Mountain View High School senior Cindy Lee, this year’s top valedictorian for the Class of 2020, has been named a 2020 Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Scholar, one of only 300 students across the nation to receive the full-tuition scholarship. Lee will attend her dream university, UC Irvine, where she will major in data science and pursue a graduate degree.
