Under the closed campus policy, students may not leave campus before the end of their school day without authorization from the Attendance Office, Health Office or an Administrator. Students desiring to leave during the day must adhere to the following procedures:
- A parental note or phone call must be presented to the Attendance Office prior to the time the student is scheduled to leave. Students who leave school without checking out through the Attendance Office first will be deemed truant and will receive disciplinary action.
- Only individuals on the emergency card will be allowed to pick up students, unless parents/guardians have made prior arrangements with the office. A valid I.D. must be presented upon the authorized release of a student from school.
- If a student must leave school due to an emergency, the Child Welfare and Attendance Coordinator (CWA) must be contacted for administrative approval prior to leaving.
