    Negotiations Update 3/16/16
     

    The District is pleased to announce that the District and EMUEA have concluded negotiations for the 2015-2016 school year on March 16, 2016.  The District and EMUEA tentatively agreed to a 7% on salary schedule increase and a 2% off salary schedule payment retroactive to July 1, 2015.  The District and EMUEA have agreed to language in Article 8 regarding a 12-minute Nutrition Break effective the Fall semester of the 2016-2017 school year.  The District and EMUEA also reached a tentative agreement regarding language in Article 29 that effective July 1, 2016, health insurance benefits for retirees will be limited to employees with fifteen (15) or more years of service in the District. 

     

    The District Board of Trustees will vote on the Tentative Agreement at the regular Board meeting on May 4, 2016.  Following Board approval, the District anticipates paychecks to reflect the salary increase and off salary schedule payment in June 2016.

     
    CSEA & EMUHSD:

    Update: CSEA Chapter 11 unit members will be receiving a 7% on salary schedule increase and a 2% off salary schedule payment.  The Tentative Agreement between the District and CSEA Chapter 11 will be approved at the regular Board meeting on May 4, 2016.  The District anticipates paychecks to reflect the salary increase and off salary schedule payment in June 2016.

     

    CSEA membership will vote on the Tentative Agreement at a special chapter meeting to be convened soon.
